"It all began in Poland. The impossible became possible"
25th anniversary of the first partially free Polish legislative election. In the election's aftermath, Poland became the first country of the Eastern Bloc in which democratically elected representatives gained real power. Thus began the process of the collapse of communism and the recovery of freedom in Central Europe.
